Tuesday, 1 May - Late Night Study to fix collar
I started by unpicking my collar and putting it on a mannequin, removed loose threads, and measured the distance around the design line (62.5cm):

 Then measured the collar (51cm):

And gathered the collar down appropriately:

 Then I tacked the gathers down and pinned on the collar:

 Next, I removed the shirt from the mannequin, tacked the collar in place, and removed the pins:

 How the gathers turned out (still not entirely successful, but I have unpicked it too many times and there are too many holes to do it again):

 Then, I top stitched the collar down on an industrial machine, and it turned out pretty sloppy, so I will unpick and re-do this at a later date, because I just can't look at it any more at this point.
