Tack the CF line, place, pin and sew placket 1.2cm either side of CF line
Turn under, tack down, top stitch 1mm away from edge *remember to cut seam allowances accurately and straight because the fabric is semi-transparent*
Next, finger-roll the edges of the cuff slit twice and sew a dart at the top to finish it off.
Then to finish off my day Monday, I sewed the cuffs together and pinned them to the sleeve.
Wednesday, 21 March: I started the day by sewing the cuffs to the sleeves and top-stitching the cuffs, finishing the sleeves, ready to attach to the shirt body.
Then, I attached the front of the shirt to the back at the shoulder and side seams, pressed the seam together toward the back and overlocked it to 1cm; then I attached the sleeve, matching the notches and headpoint to shoulder
Here's all the finished inside seams around the shoulder, sleeve and sides:
And a nearly finished front:
All that is left is the collar, which I had every intention of finishing Friday, but after pinning and sewing it four times I gave up because I was too frustrated, and tired from working on Battle for the Winds all day, which I hadn't expected to be doing, but will explain in my next post...
